About the Network

The Thrive NC Table is a growing network of organizations representing the intersection of the movement for environmental, climate, and economic justice. Our goal is to organize to win the political power and build the grassroots support necessary to enact a rapid Just Transition in North Carolina. To achieve this goal, we are working to deepen movement cohesion between the frontlines of environmental and climate justice and organized labor in order to manifest a bold and visionary THRIVE Agenda for North Carolina.

NC Climate Justice Collective

The NC Climate Justice Collective emerged out of relationships and shared commitments identified at the first NC Climate Justice Summit (NCCJS) in 2014. The Collective is multi-racial and intergenerational by design, centered in leadership of impacted communities, and deeply experiential.
Sunrise Movement

The Sunrise Movement is a youth movement to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process. We’re building an army of young people to make climate change an urgent priority across America, end the corrupting influence of fossil fuel executives on our politics, and elect leaders who stand up for the health and wellbeing of all people.
Siembra

We are a grassroots organization focused on defending our communities from ICE, abusive employers and landlords, and bad políticos. We operate primarily in Alamance, Durham, Forsyth, Guilford, Orange, Wake, Randolph and Rockingham counties, and have active members around the state. With & without papers we are making moves to change NC.
Communications Workers of America

CWA represents workers in private and public sector employment in 1,200 chartered CWA local unions. CWA members work in telecommunications and information technology, the airline industry, news media, broadcast and cable television, education, health care, public service and education, law enforcement, manufacturing and other fields.
